TSG mountain bike wear - first look

Safety gear brand launches MTB clothing with Timo Pritzel as ambassador

With the start of the new bike season Zurich-based company TSG has unveiled a new range of mountain bike wear.

The lineup is fronted by bike genius Timo Pritzel, who is the official ambassador for the collection. BikeRadar takes a look at some of the key clothing.

Ricca long-sleeve bikeshirt

This lightweight freeride jersey sounds ideal for pounding trails. It has a relaxed fit and moisture-wicking eyebird mesh fabric to help keep you cool, as well as an extended back for comfort.

It's soft, flexible and weighs a claimed 561g. The Ricca has an RRP of €59.95 (which is approximately £48 at the time of writing).

Riot jacket

The Riot jacket offers fleecey comfort alongside practical qualities such as waterproofness up to 3,000mm, good insulation and a fast moisture-transport to ensure you stay dry. The casual design looks just the part to us too.

This one is €99.95 (approx £80), weighs a claimed 620g and is made from polyester.

Chaos jacket

The Chaos (left) is a heavier-duty jacket, and offers waterproofness up to 8,000mm. It's made up of two-layer polyester and has a water-repellent front zipper. Mesh-lined vents, a large hood and rear panel venting should help to keep you fresh.

Other features include zippered pockets, a chin protector, adjustable arm cuffs and reflective heat transfer detailing. This item weighs a claimed 500g, comes in black and has an RRP of €99.95 (approx £80).
