Baja Epic set to roll Nov. 5-8

Interested in racing otherwise inaccessible and remote trails through Baja California and Mexico? The 2008 Baja Epic is an offroad event scheduled for November 5-8.
According to race organizer Armando Carrasco, the course will highlight Baja's diverse geography, from beach to high alpine to forest to beach.
"The allure of this event is multiple," he said. "A chance to race on territory that the average racer would never have a chance to negotiate. Plus, it's a destination that's within two hours drive to Los Angeles and San Diego airports."
Tentative race course:
Day One: Rosarito to Tecate
Day Two: Tecate to Ensenada
Day Three: Valle de la Trinidad to Mike's Sky Ranch
Day Four: Ensenada to Rosarito
