Wharncliffe Weekender returns to Sheffield (wharncliffeweekender.co.uk)
This year's XC charity event will be held in Wharncliffe forest in Sheffield on the 4th and 5th of August, and if last year's is anything to go by, this one's going to be a cracker.
There's a fancy dress Fun category, Seniors, Experts and Youths. Camp out and chill with a barbeque and live bands on the Saturday night, and generally have a good time all in the name of mountain biking and helping the Weston Park Cancer Appeal. An amazing £5800 was raised last year, which is a massive effort.
