Marianne Vos best again in women's Flèche

By Cyclingnews.com

Dutch rider Marianne Vos took her second consecutive victory in the Women's Flèche Wallonne in much the same way she took the World Cup round last year – attacking the Mur de Huy as if it wasn't a 25% grade and riding away for the win.

High Road's Judith Ardnt, winner of the Ronde van Vlaanderen World Cup, was the first to begin the sprint up the torturous ascent, but Vos poured on the power and left her behind in the final 100 metres.

World Champion Marta Bastianelli dug deep and passed a fading Arndt in the last 25 metres to take second. Redlands Classic winner Alex Wrubleski put in a stunning performance to take fourth ahead of Flexpoint's Amber Neben.
