A proper racer

Ffionn Griffiths is No 2 in the World. We told you so.
Ffionn's in Spokane when I call, waiting for Katrina Miller's mechanic to turn up so they can all go to the next Norba race together. The girl the British industry was too mean-spirited to sponsor is No 2 in the World and "secong or third" in the USA National Championships too.

Not too shabby Ffionn.

"Yes, I'm doing pretty good. And I'm having a great time."

Are we going to see you back in the UK soon?

"Not until the end of August. I'm sponsored by Foes/Azonic and they want me to win races over here, I'm doing all the Norbas and the Jeep races, partnered by Scotty B."

What have you enjoyed most about your season?

"I'd have to say the back to back victories in the Canadian World Cups, but that's not what's given me the greatest satisfaction. What I love is being a proper racer on a proper factory team with a real chance of winning the World Cup."

Only Tracy Moseley has more points. One of you should win.

"There are 14 points between us, but Sabrina Jonnier is not far off. All three of us can win; it's all on the last race."

We'll settle for a British one/two - bye

"I'll be giving it the lot, that's all I'm saying. Bye."
