Actor James Cromwell, star of the 1995 movie Babe, was hospitalized after crashing on his bicycle while out training in southern California last weekend, according to his publicist.
No word on what model bike the 6'7" actor was riding at the time, but reports mentioned Cromwell, 68, suffered a broken collarbone and a partially deflated lung, according to a statement released Monday by publicist Nancy Seltzer.
She said Cromwell is a serious cyclist who was training on a Los Angeles-area canyon road Sunday when he fell from the bike. He was released Monday.

Echo downfader - even among big production film fans, isn't James better known for LA Confidential? Not that he wasn't magnificent in Babe, of course.
