2011/12 cyclo-cross photo book an 'antidote to tarmac'
A photo book chronicling the 2011/12 cyclo-cross season has just been published. The man who’s put it together, Balint Hamvas, reckons it’s an antidote to the tarmac of the Tour de France. The photographer travelled over 30,000 miles between 34 races, attending every UCI World Cup, Superprestige and GVA Trophy race, as well as Crossvegas, Scheldecross, Druivencross and the World Championships. Accompanying the pictures, the hardback 220 page book features introductions on each event, rider quotes and race insight. It’s on sale now from www.cyclephotos.co.uk for €39.99.
