BikeRadar Live: Sign up for the British Heart Foundation track ride

Cycle around the world-famous Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch

At this year’s BikeRadar Live the British Heart Foundation are offering a unique chance for cyclists of all abilities to enjoy an amazing ride around the famous Brands Hatch motor racing circuit.

You can take on as many laps as you choose of the 1.9km Indy Circuit (all riders must wear helmets and be finished/track clear by midday) and join hundreds of other cyclists experiencing this thrilling event as you enjoy the bends, twists and turns normally only enjoyed by racing car drivers.

Why not get the whole family involved and raise money for the British Heart Foundation?

Have fun, get fit, save lives

Kicking off at 10am, the event is open to all ages. It isn’t a race; the challenge is to have fun, get fit and save lives.

Whether entering as a team, family or individual, it should be a great way to spend your Saturday morning. All entry fees go to the British Heart Foundation, so register now to show your support.

Registration will be open at the BHF marquee trackside from 9am. Entry is free for under-13s, £5 for 13- to 15-year-olds and £7 for others. You can buy tickets here

Easy online sponsorship

This is a sponsored bike ride so the BHF do ask that you try to raise as much sponsorship as you can. To make life easy for your sponsors and to maximise the audience you can reach, why not set up an online sponsorship page at www.justgiving.com/bhf? It’s so easy!

Every penny

Every penny you raise counts as the BHF spend £100 every minute of every day on research. They fund around 30 professors and hundreds of scientists and doctors across the UK, plus they support over 400 BHF heart nurses who provide specialist support and advice for patients.

The BHF also provide vital information for everyone from children to old people about ways in which they can improve their own heart health. Heart disease is still the UK’s biggest killer, so most people know someone who has been affected by it.

For more information about the BHF and their work, go to www.bhf.org.uk. British Heart Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales (225971) and in Scotland (SCO39426).
