Procycling's Deputy editor Ellis Bacon didn't get enough bike racing in France this past July, so he thought adding the Beijing Olympics to his journalistic accomplishments for 2008 (he began the year at the Tour of Qatar) was the obvious thing to do.

It certainly helps that Great Britain's track team is heavily favoured to bring home enough gold to outweigh Bacon himself. Our inquisitive journalist also has a keen fashion sense, and while the Olympics tends to plain vanilla-ize team kit, there are some nuggets here and there that can't escape his wondering gaze among the glitz and glamour in Beijing.
