Blog: My punishment for tempting fate

As Lance Armstrong stated in his exclusive Tour de France interview with Procycling Magazine this month, he never liked the first week of the Tour because "there was a lot to lose and nothing to gain." It appears we got a little rambunctious in our enthusiasm for a seemingly dope-free first week as well.

Yes, Our Man Daniel Friebe was feeling especially giddy when he filed his Tour blog Thursday, so it was with much consternation and repentance that he posted his blog today.

Let's all share in Daniel's sadness, and hope for a better second week.
