Bristol trail repair to restart in February

Volunteers needed to help city's mountain bikers

Repair and building work on mountain bike trails in Bristol, southwest England, is to restart this month.

The first trail day, organised by Bristol Trails Group, takes place on Saturday 7 February at Ashton Court, with another session planned for later in the month.

All tools and materials are supplied and new volunteers are welcome regardless of experience. Sessions are organised by riders and run with the support of land managers.

Over the past few years, Bristol Trails Group has been gradually weatherproofing the city’s trails and improving drainage and flow so riders can enjoy them all year round.
