British Four-Cross Championships this weekend

The British National Four-Cross Championships take place at Redhill Extreme near Gloucester on Sunday (5 July).

Redhill will also host the fifth round of the National 4X Series on Saturday (4 July).

RockyMountain rider Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont will be looking to defend his senior national championship title on the purpose-built track, which has recently been improved.

Other riders in contention include Will Evans, Lewis Lacey, Duncan Ferris, Kieron McAvoy, Pat Campbell-Jenner and Tom Dowie.

2008 Youth National Champion Tom Knight moves up to Junior level, where he will battle it out with the likes of Max Lenthall, Pete Warner, Mike Yard, Scott Roberts and Jake Ward.

Practice starts at noon on Sunday, with racing from 3.30pm.
