Cycle touring legend Ian Hibell killed in Greece

Having met Ian many years ago in Africa. I am deeply shocked by his death and wish his family my deepest sympathies.

What a tragedy though just from looking at youtube i've seen a number of people hit and nearly killed in greece, i'm glad they were able to catch the driver. I travel to greece each summer and take greek island cruises with my family.

It was indeed a shame.... On his way home, not far from his destination.
One of my favourite pictures of Ian's shown, cycling in Peru.
He could tell some stories....
