Cyclingnews.com launches brand new look

More up to date, better navigation, new section

Cyclingnews.com, the world's biggest cycling website, launched its brand new look on Monday 15 June.

The redesign is a radical step for the site, which has been the source for cycling news, race results and photos since its inception in 1995. It's come about thanks to a lot of user feedback and a year-long design and build.

The new site is more user friendly than the old, with the most important content now more visible. There's the long-awaited ability to read minute-by-minute news, while also keeping the popular news editions further down the home page. Readers can filter all content by discipline, whether that be road, mountain bike, track or cyclo-cross. For example, choose 'Road' and all you'll see is road racing stories.

The tech section has been beefed up with more reviews, bike specs and image galleries than ever before. There’s also a super new riders and teams section with every pro-rider – from every discipline – listed and built into a comprehensive race and results system.

The features section includes interviews with top riders and the sport's movers and shakers, taking visitors behind the scenes of the pro peloton. Cyclingnews will introduce the stars of the future as they take their first steps to greatness. As part of this, it has kept with its world class bloggers:

On top of all this, Cyclingnews will stick to its roots and make sure that the site is constantly updated with the latest news and results, including its hugely popular live coverages of races and extensive photo galleries from some of the world's leading cycling photographers.

Over the coming days and weeks the Cyclingnews team will be tidying up any technical points as well as rolling out more enhanced functionality such as RSS feeds and newsletters.
