The Devil Ride is a new cyclosportive from the organisers of the Autumn Epic, taking place in Builth Wells, mid-Wales on 10 August.

The 100 mile route goes through the wild highlands of the southern Cambrians and will include the notorious Devil's Staircase and Gammallt climbs. The latter forced riders onto their feet during the Milk Race once upon a time. But the organisers say they haven't gone out of their way to make it hard just for the sake of it. They say they want to showcase the scenery while giving riders a day out to remember.

The Devil Ride will award certificates for gold, silver and bronze standard finishing times. In addition, one lucky finisher will win an Orbea Orca frameset worth £1699.99. The winner will be picked out randomly on the day.

The entry field is over two thirds full, so if you want a ride, visit www.cyclosportives.co.uk/devilHome.htm
