A beginner's guide to all things terra firma.
First thing I'll say about this site is, well, its rather snazzy isn't it? Punch in the addy and you're greeted with a rather flash, err, flash.

Dirt glorious dirt, or D-G-D as it's known, has got all the stuff you expect on a rider's site these days: forum, rider info, news and photos. But the particularly handy bits are the trail building and dirt jumping guides.

FAQs on the MBUK.com forum are: "how do I jump properly?" or "how do I build good jumps? "Well the next time anyone asks those questions we'll just point them at this site.

The building guide covers downhill trails, dirt jumps and singletrack, how to berm, bowl and build.

The 'how to jump' section covers the basics such as pumping the lip, lining yourself up, and a smooth landing, with tricks and so on to follow soon.

It could do with the small pics being linked to larger versions (so we could grab a better quality taster for a start), but it's not all about pictures and, overall, the site is well worth a look if you are starting dirt jumping from scratch and aren't sure what to do.
