Edwige Pitel, who was not selected for France in their Olympic Games cycling team, has had her protest at the decision rejected by a court in Grenoble on Wednesday.
A judge said there was no serious doubt about the legality of the decision to leave Pitel off the team and hence her bid to overturn the original decision was rejected.
The French women's team in the road race for the August 8 to 24 Beijing Games, announced late last month, is Christel Ferrier-Bruneau, Jeannie Longo, and Maryline Salvetat, and the time-trial riders are Longo and Maryline Salvetat.

Wholly sexist and chauvinistic remark, but they're hardly 'lookers' are they?
Thank heavens for Victoria and co - otherwise there'd be no totty to watch in Beijing!! If Mrs Rider is reading this, you understand that I'll be watching the cycling purely for sporting reasons and to marvel at their performances and not marvel at anything else...
Better go now...
