On Saturday the 4th of October a new phase of British-Ethiopian racing begins. Starting at the British Embassy in Addis Ababa and taking on the steep climbs of the BoleMountains, the Entoto Monster challenges bikers to traverse a tough 20km of trails, bookended by a 5km and 10km run.
The event, designed for individuals or teams of up to three, takes place entirely at 2,400m above sea level. Just a scant 200m of the course is flat, making this a serious triumph for those who overcome it.
