Rumours had been circulating that the British star might retire from the World Cup circuit after finally achieving his career-long goal at the World Champs in Canberra last year.
But speaking to BikeRadar during a ride with our Garmin Academy winners at Cannock Chase this weekend, he confirmed that he has re-signed with the Syndicate for another three years and has no intention of quitting downhill racing any time soon.
He also scotched rumours that his team-mate, and former world champ, Greg Minnaar would be switching to another team this year, saying that the South African has also committed to another three years with Santa Cruz.
Look out for a full interview with Peaty on BikeRadar later this week.
