It was organised as part of the Northumberland Lights festival in conjunction with NEWHeat – an initiative to encourage businesses to reduce carbon emissions by switching their heat energy supply to wood.
John Farquhar, of NEWHeat , said: “The North-East is incredibly well-placed to champion wood heat as an alternative energy supply, as we have such rich sources of sustainable woodland, such as
