Freire for three in Logroño
Oscar Freire (Rabobank) has taken his third stage win of this year's Vuelta, beating Koldo Fernandez (Euskaltel) and Andre Korff (T-Mobile) in Logroño.
The Spaniard burst up the middle of the peloton in the closing metres of the 185km stage and was once again unbeatable. The overall lead remained with Russian Vladimir Efimkin (Caisse d'Epargne).
Tomorrow's seventh stage is between Calahorra and Zaragoza over 176.3km. It's another sprinter-friendly leg.
