Galvez dies in Belgian track race
Spanish cyclist dies after colliding with competitor and crashing into railings
31-year-old Madison world champion Isaac Galvez has died after a collision with Belgian Dimitri de Fauw in the Six Days of Ghent track race.
After being resuscitated track-side, Galvez died on the way to hospital.
Galvez was a track specialist, winning a gold medal with partner John Llaneras in the Madison event in Bordeaux at this year's world championships in April.
The remainder of the Ghent track race has been suspended.
