Giant go component crazy

We're just back from a day visiting Giant and the big news is that they've got a brand new range of components.

Giant Bicycles have long been associated with ground-breaking bikes like their race winning Anthem 1 XC bike and the Giant Glory DH, the weapon of choice for the Atherton downhill racing clan. But Giant branded components and accessorieshave been very thin on the ground. until now.

Giant are now releasing an extensive new line of components, covering everything from track pumps, through bike computers, to helmets and even some rather cool looking clothing.

One of the highlights of the line was a racy looking XC helmet complete with adjustable retention system and in mould technology which looked like the love child of a Bell and Giro lid. The helmet will be available in four colour ways and a full range of sizes.

We're expecting to begin testing these bits and pieces in the next couple of weeks to see how things shape up out on the trails - so stay tuned!
