Glasgow GP precedes British tour

The Tour of Britain, which starts in Glasgow on August 30, is to be preceded by a round of the British Criterium Race Series in the same city on the previous evening. The one-hour race will be held within the spectacular setting of George Square in the heart of Glasgow.

The Glasgow GP will take place following the official Tour of Britain team presentation, which also takes place in George Square on the Monday bank holiday evening, starting at 6pm and finishing at approximately 6.45.

Amongst the riders taking part in the fast and furious action of the Glasgow Grand Prix will be representatives of the Recycling.co.uk team, Team Barloworld-Valsir and Team DFL, as well as Scottish and Welsh teams.
