“We partnered with long-time backpack producer, Deuter,” said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear. “This pack was designed to help you carry everything you need for your cycling adventures.”
The Hincapie Pro Pack features a large main compartment that can be divided to separate wet/dirty items, an organizational front top pocket and a hydration compatible pocket with a hydration port that can double as a tune port for music player headphones. Mesh side pockets can be used for shoes or water bottles, while the adjustable helmet holder accommodates almost any bicycle helmet. Zippered mesh security pockets on the hip belt hold small items, and an integrated rain cover keeps everything dry when needed.
The contoured shoulder straps combine with the adjustable side compression straps and load stabilizers to keep everything secure and steady. Deuter’s proven Airstripes Ventilation back system ensures a cool ride on a hot day, while allowing technical apparel fabrics to do their job on chillier rides.
“This is an excellent first step for us into making gear bags that complement our extensive product line,” said Hincapie. With 1850 cubic inches of capacity, the Hincapie Pro Pack is large enough to load everything needed for race day or for an extended ride/commute to work or school.
