The first Hope Race Series held in the spring attracted 230 riders, some of whom travelled up to 200 miles to take part.
Series two retains the same simple single race format but adds a new category for 15 and 16-year-olds (17-year-olds can race in the main categories), plus catering in the event 'hamlet'.
Hope will provide prizes including an SP XC6 wheelset, a complete brakeset, lights and some Sh1t Shifter spot prizes, along with some unique trophies. There will also be additional category sponsorship from Leisure Lakes, Minx-girl, Charlie The Bikemonger, Crud Products and Great Rock Training.
Races take place on 6 and 27 September, and 18 October. You can pre-enter online at www.xcracer.com or download an entry form from the Brownbacks Racing website.
