A secret would be halogen heat lamps on their local trails to dry it all out so it rides like summer, not using bin bags to stop you getting wet and muddy. Winter riding isn't meant to be easy!

Put some big mud tyres on and get stamping on those pedals, nothing wrong with a bit of resistance training.

seems more like an advert for the shop mag rather than a sensible article on kit and tips for enjoying the British "winter wonderland" MTB mudbath experiance!
So lets start our own list - saves buying the mag!
