Inventive cycle storage

With approximately 500,000 bicycles being stolen each year, Built From Scratch Design Ltd think they've come up with a solution: a Cyclepod. We saw one being demonstrated at the Cycleshow 2005 and were suitably impressed.
James Stewart, 23 set up Scratch Design Ltd and this is his first product launch, winning the Enterprising Young Brits award in 2005. The main benefit is that it's super secure: locking the frame and front wheel to the recyclable aluminium structure. Particularly for public use, such as by local councils and companies, the Cyclepod is space-saving taking eight bikes within a two metre in diameter. And better cycling facilities encourage employees to cycle to work!
