Jody Crawforth joins the LOOK mountain bike race team

UK cross country racer gets new ride

Cross country rider Jody Crawforth has signed to the LOOK Racing Team for the coming year, and will ride the new LOOK 986 model in the upcoming XC National Series, National Championships and various other regional events.

The 27 year-old from Leatherhead in Surrey has been a regular front-runner since entering the world of cross country racing in 1994, and won the National Series in 2003 and became National Champion in 2004.

LOOK are entering the UK mountain bike market with their 986 frame, which Jody has already used to win Round 4 of the Gorrick mountain bike race series.

Jody will be riding the LOOK 986 at the opening round of the National Series at Thetford this weekend. He said: ‘’I do enjoy racing at Thetford. It’s a tough place to race with a long lap and plenty of technical sections but it’s fast’’

‘’I’m really looking forward to getting the LOOK 986 out on the course. It should suit its sharp handling and high speed stability perfectly.’’
