Just In: Moots Vamoots Compact road
The Moots Vamoots Compact is a lively titanium road bike, handmade in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The 59cm sample pictured here weighs a titch over 17lbs., and costs US$5,500 with the SRAM Force gruppo, Alpha Q carbon fork, and titanium Moots stem and seatpost. A few fast jaunts up and around my standard routes in the Santa Cruz Mountains have shown this 3Al/2.5V titanium bike to be a wonderful tarmac companion.

What does the 3AI/2.5v Represent?
The hubs look far too small to be dynamo hubs.
