Just In: Swobo Novak

The upstream swimmers at Swobo surprised everyone by launching three bike models in 2007, and this year promises more of the same. We recently picked up a Novak for test at their Sausalito, California headquarters.
The steel 700c-wheeled three speed roadster is spartan like the rest of the bike line, with SRAM's I-Motion internal gearing. Optional Planet Bike fenders and Swobo basket adorn our 60cm sample, on loan from Swobo owner Tim Parr.
Unique features include an integrated seatpost LED light, locking bolt-on quick release front skewer, chainguard, and ultra-longreach Tektro brake calipers.

TWO hundred quid and it might sell reasonably well - and I might buy one. But FIVE big ones looks rather steep!
