The weekend of August 6 sees the NPS 4X and King of Dirt comps move to Cornwall for the season finales. The whole event will be taking place on a new permanent extreme sports site less than two miles up the valley from the Surfing beaches of Portreath, Cornwall, where for the weekend, organisers have built brand new trails and 4X track.
We've just been sent some pics of the trails which are being built by Wisley and Woburn locals for Saturday night's King of Dirt comp. A big roll in leads to two sets of doubles then splits left and right to two runs before hipping back right and left to join the single run again. There's also a 5m X 8m foam pit which is 2m deep (for extra comfort) and a Tranpoline so that riders get get their biggest tricks dialled
Saturday afternoon and evening will host a whole bunch of entertainment including music and DJ's and there will be a licensed bar and food on site. Sunday sees the last round of the NPS 4X take place on the brand new track built by the Dirt Bike Supply 4X team. According to our insider, the track's already looking preetty sick so expect to see some quality racing on the day.
