Britain's Tracy Moseley grabbed a third place finish in the Subaru Oceania Downhill Championships in Rotorua, New Zealand at the weekend on the course that will host this year's World Champs in August.
Last year's number one ranked female downhiller was pleased with her position behind Vanessa Quin (NZ) and Sabrina Jonnier (Fra) and promised to come back for the New Zealand Community Trust UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in August faster and ready to give it her all.
"This was great chance to check out the World s course," said Tracy. "As much as I would have liked to win, I am pleased with my result and know where I can gain time come the Worlds . I can t wait to get back here and race it again in August. "
Kona teammate and reigning World Downhill Champion Fabien Barel (Fra), won the men's event ahead of Australia's Sam Hill.
