Lance Armstrong's one-of-a-kind Trek Equinox TTX 9.9 time trial bike was stolen from the Astana team truck last night, according to a recent Twitter posting from the seven-time Tour de France winner who's racing the 2009 Tour of California.
The custom-painted Trek was raced to a 10th place finish at yesterday's prologue in Sacramento, four seconds behind winner Fabian Cancellara.
Armstrong's post included this note: "There is only one like it in the world therefore hard to pawn it off; reward being offered."
According to Trek team liaison Ben Coates, three Astana team Trek Madone road bikes belonging to Janez Brajkovic, Steve Morabito, and Yaroslav Popovych were also stolen.

We're waiting to find out from Coates which bike Armstrong will use for the Stage 6 15 mile/24km individual time trial in Solvang on Friday. Will it be white or will the Waterloo, Wisconsin-based Trek crank one out in time?
