Gerolsteiner's Levi Leipheimer was confirmed as the winner of the Deutschland Tour when the race finished in Bonn this afternoon. As expected, the final stage ended in a sprint, which saw Lampre-Caffita's Daniele Bennati win his third stage of the race. Leipheimer finished safely in the pack to claim the biggest win of his career, ahead of pre-race favourite Jan Ullrich.
