Lingfield Park Bike Ride, Surrey, 4th June 2006

By Ellie Parsons

Cycle for The Douglas Bader Foundation: a charity that was founded on Douglas Bader himself, who fought to fly with both his legs amputated in WWII. Your participation will go towards helping the Douglas Bader Foundation Centre in West London, which provides vital rehabilitation for people with disabilities, as well as associated projects such as CHAMPS (CHild AMPuteeS), The Limb Loss Information Centre and a walking school.

The ride is split into a 35 mile leisure ride or a 70 mile more challenging ride and it costs £20 to enter.
