What a mint weekend! We've just come back from the MBUK North Shore Jam and it was absolutely fantastic. just like we told you it was gonna be.
Riders came from all over the UK (and Belgium) to ride the North Shore trails at the High Action Centre in Churchill, Somerset (www.highaction.co.uk) on Saturday and Sunday. Then everyone chilled, drank beer, ate burgers and lazed about in the specially organized MBUK Sunshine, before hitting the trails for more action.
Resident builder Cliff Barbeary and his team of woodland folk have spent a lot of nights getting wood and banging in the forest recently. Don't misunderstand us, they've been hammering up loads of new obstacles to test the best riders to go alongside the more manageable stuff for the less experienced. And everyone loved it over the weekend.
We had a load of not-too-serious comps, a ton of prizes, unforgettable Chopper racing, Dangerous Jim Davage flying through the sky, a jump box, downhill, a big party, MBUK's Viking Leader strode about in his Viking helmet and sang, and Mad Mike stayed fully clothed throughout. All wickid fun.
If you weren't there. you missed out big style. Check out future issues of MBUK for all the action.
PS - Cheers to Wysiwyg for the pics
