Mobi release new portable pressure washer

Mobi have released a new version of their portable pressure washer, called the V-17.

Improving on their previous V-15 model, this new incarnation isn’t restricted to being powered by a car’s 12v output or from a 240v mains socket – the V-17 has its own rechargeable battery, allowing for absolute portability.

One charge will apparently power the washer for around seven tanks or one hour of continuous cleaning. The new model also has a larger (17 litre) water tank which can be detached from the main unit to be refilled.

With an RRP of £149.99, the new washer – which can spray water at up to 130 psi – will be on sale in August, and we’ll have a review of it soon.

Mobi have added another product to their range too, which is likely to appeal to outdoorsy types – the £29.99 Mobi Power-Pack. It’s an LED torch with an in-built 12v power supply (like the one you’ll find in your car).

  • Maybe Mobi should make their first model work properly before making a second. Great idea let down by very poor build quality, now on 2nd replacement still shoddy build

  • Complete rubbish surreyxc!

Sorry mate but I'd say you have been unlucky there dude. I purchased 2 Mobi's one for me and one for a mate. The build quality is superb...great little cleaner!

  • Unlucky once, but twice indicates poor qaulity control, first arrived with broken wheel, after 12 uses motor packed up, 2nd unit socket in washer now lose, when you disconnect the power lead the socket comes out of the unit, motor already seems intermittent. Hose fitting is poor, it can auto detach itself when the hose is twisted. The ac adapater showed signs of melting from current. All this when it has only been used from the confines of a front porch. Lets hope Karcher get on the scene.

  • Fully with hottopic on this one surreyxc.

We recently purchased two Mobi's for our Hampshire based club, its a wicked product.

No issues with build quality, power is more than adequate for blasting the worst of the grime and mud off. I'd recommend this product all day long, strikes me you've been mighty unlucky there fella.
