A new skills area is now open at the Coed Llandegla mountain bike trail centre near Wrexham,
Built using a grant from Forestry Commission Wales’s Better Woodlands for
- Basic technique area
- Freeride area
- Pump track
- Dual slalom track
Llandegla has also received a Forestry Commission grant to build an extra 10.5km of off-road trails.
Dave Liddy, FC Wales's visitor management adviser, said : "Last year, more than 410,000 cyclists visited the world-class biking centres in Wales, bringing millions of pounds into the Welsh economy, but we're keen to encourage those new to the sport to learn and practise bike techniques before they set off into the woods."
