A new trail section has opened in Glenbranter in the Argyll Forest Park, which is part of a 6km trail. The new addition to the trail is just part of a £3 million project to upgrade recreational facilities in the Argyll and Queen Elizabeth Forest Parks.
The steep flowing downhill section takes a direct line down the forested hillside with plenty of twists and berms to help carry your speed through the corners. Andy Malcolm from Forestry Commission Scotland said: "We are very excited to be launching the new cycle track with this event and hope it will help make mountain bikers aware of what the forests have to offer."
