Nicole Cooke signs for Skyter-Shipping

Briton Nicole Cooke, the reigning road race Olympic champion, has re-signed for the German cycling team Nürnberger, which will be renamed Skyter-Shipping in 2010.

Cooke, 26, inked a one-year deal with the team for which she will be the lead rider.

  • shortening it to SS may not be appropriate given the team location

  • What happened to Vision 1? Nicole seems to change teams as often as her , err, cycling shorts, or did I just doze off at a crucial moment in the story?
