What a weekend and what a race! A huge crowd lined the streets 3 to 4 deep as world class riders took to the streets of the Lisbon's narrow and cobbled old town streets.

This event has been going for the past four years and each year it gets bigger and better. This year 60 men and 10 women of the worlds best mountain bikers were invited to race in a timed down hill through the historic streets of Lisbon, with live TV and UCI points on offer this was going to be a very exciting race!

Tracy Moseley, Kona Clarks UK No 1, rode the race for the first time against Anne-Caroline Chausson (FRA), Marielle Saner (SUI) so it was going to be tough.

Up against the likes of Brian Lopes, Cedric Gracia and Mike King, Peaty was going to have to go some.

Steve is on song at the moment and took the win. Tracy wasn't quite at her best but got a creditable third. Final Results:
Men
1st - Steve Peat
2nd - Brian Lopes
3rd - Tomas Misser
4th - Cedric Gracia
5th - Bas de Bever

Women
1st - Marielle Saner
2nd - Anne-Caroline Chausson
3rd - Tracy Moseley - Kona Clarks Factory Team
4th - Anneke Beerten
5th - Miriam Blas
