Seven-time Tour de France Lance Armstrong has been named in his RadioShack squad for a rare participation at the Belgian one-day classic the Tour of Flanders on Sunday.
It will 38-year-old Armstrong's first participation in a major one-day classic this season after he pulled out on the eve of Milan-SanRemo two weeks ago with a stomach bug.
Armstrong, who finished third in last year's Tour de France on what was his return to the sport after a three-year hiatus, raced at last weekend's Criterium International in Corsica.
After Sunday's race the Texan is scheduled to race the Circuit de la Sarthe in France.
Flanders, or the 'Ronde' as locals like to call it, is the biggest one-day classic in Flemish-speaking Belgium and the second 'monument' of the season after Milan-SanRemo.
