Sneak preview - Commencal VIP Titanium

By BikeRadar

Here's the new and rather tasty looking Commencal Limited Edition Ti VIP frame. Available in limited number the Ti VIP features the same geometry as Commencal's VIP Flame, their alloy cross country race hardtail.

The main frame tubes are made from double butted 3-2.5 Ti tubing with harder 6-4 Ti used at the bottom bracket shell and headtube.

The frame features a choice of removable dropouts, allowing you to swap the vertical variety for the singlespeed horizontal dropouts if you so desire. A medium frame weighs around 1.5kg.

From the pictures the finishing looks very neat and tidy and we've always been a big fan of the DeKerf like wishbone seatstays. Very French Canadian.

The Limited Edition Ti VIP will be available in Spring 2008 under very limited numbers. Price for the frame comes in a £1399.
