Steve Peat breaks foot in National Champs race
Steve Peat broke his foot yesterday at the National Championships in Rheola, South Wales and will face a tough battle to be fit in time for the World Championships at Fort William in September.
Team MBUK/Santa Cruz rider Marc Beaumont finished first in the Senior Men's race, with fellow Team MBUK.Santa Cruz rider Neil Donaghue joining Marc on the podium in second place. Matt Simmonds came third.
Tracy Moseley took first place in the Elite Women's race, with Helen Gaskell a close second.Fionn Griffiths took third.
We'll have more news on Steve soon, and we wish him all the best for his recovery.

oh no unlucky peaty, but peaty can ride through anything last year he did it with a broken knuckle

Id say the Athertons would have changed the competition totally but they were over here in Ireland!!!
