Mountain Mayhem, the UK's 24-hour mountain biking festival taking place at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire on 22 - 24 June, is pleased to announce the brand new joint title sponsorship with two world-leading supporters of cycling - T-Mobile and Giant Bicycles.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Mountain Mayhem expects around 2,500 participants and in excess of 450 teams at this year's event. With a prize pot of over £19,000, many of the world's leading mountain bike riders will be fighting it out day and night for their share of the riches.

Along with the thousands of riders the event, now known as T-Mobile Giant Mountain Mayhem, will be expecting over 10,000 ardent spectators to line the stamina-sapping, mud-splattering course, providing a fantastic support to this iconic annual UK mountain biking weekend.

T-Mobile and Giant are two of the most prominent brands involved in cycling globally and are partners in the hugely successful professional road-racing cycling team - the T-Mobile Team - which will once again be among the favourites for the team title at this year's Tour de France. To mark the tenth anniversary of this year's Mountain Mayhem, both T-Mobile and Giant will be working with the event organisers to coordinate a number of themed activities to be announced shortly.

Patrick Adams, partner in Pacific Edge Events Limited, organisers of the T-Mobile Giant Mountain Mayhem, commented on the new title sponsors: "We are thrilled and delighted to be working with T-Mobile & Giant, two brands that have such cycling heritage, especially now in 2007, our 10th Anniversary year."

Toby Hester, T-Mobile UK Head of Sponsorship, said: "Mountain Mayhem is a fantastic annual festival that sees amateur cyclists competing alongside their heroes, it's an event that involves teamwork, personal achievement and family entertainment. T-Mobile has long-standing links with cycling across the globe. As a brand we want to be associated with the best team and the very best events and so Mountain Mayhem is an obvious place for us to be and we look forward to working closely with our co-title sponsor Giant and the event organisers to put on an outstanding weekend of riding."

Collette Clensy, Marketing Manager for Giant UK, said: "We have been associated with Mountain Mayhem since its dawn, it seems only fitting that we can now boast co-title sponsor alongside T-Mobile for this tenth anniversary year. Mountain Mayhem is the most exciting endurance race in the UK events calendar with a following of devoted participants and supporters alike, whether attending to race, the demo weekend or just to soak up the vibe. We are over the moon to be able to bring this event to the enthusiasts for 2007." T-Mobile Giant Mountain Mayhem will take place on the weekend of 22nd and 24th June 2007.
