6 day challenge spanning 254 miles from North to South Wales
Bobath Children's Therapy Centre in Wales, a Welsh charity that provides specialist therapy to children throughout Wales who have cerebral palsy, are asking cyclists to saddle up for its spectacular 6 day challenge - The Lon Las Cycle Challenge 2007 - spanning 254 miles from Holyhead North Wales to Cardiff in April 2007.
The ride will take in Wales' most breathtaking scenery, crossing three mountain ranges, rolling lush green countryside and old industrial and agricultural heritage as the route passes through North, Mid and South Wales.
It's not for the fainthearted though, as cyclists will cover around 50 miles per day, with hilly terrain and several arduous parts of the trail but the rewards are more than worth it.
BBC Wales' Iolo Williams will also take part in at least two days of cycling, he said: "What better way to experience the beauty of our country, whilst at the same time making a difference to children in Wales who have cerebral palsy? Get pedalling!"
