Human Race's 2006 extensive event calendar is introducing it's first ever off road event at with the 'Men's Fitness Rough Track' on Saturday 16 September with both a duathlon and triathlon on offer.
This brand new event is open to men and women and there's racing for all levels of athlete, novice to the experienced. The aim is a fun and enjoyable day out at a great location.
Competitors can enter as an individual or relay team in either the triathlon sprint (400m swim, 10km bike, 5km run) or challenge (800m swim, 20km bike, 10km run) or Duathlon (5km bike, 10km run, 5km).
The event takes place with a multi lap course. The first run and bike lap will be held off road so a mountain bike is essential. It is not a hilly course, but there will be some technical parts to test you!
If you're a newcomer to the sport, this is an ideal race for your first ever triathlon or duathlon on a mountain bike - it's a great venue for spectators too so bring the whole family.
