With only four weeks remaining until the start of the Tour of Britain, the Recycling.co.uk/ Litespeed team has announced a line-up that Team Manager Phil Leigh is confident can mount a serious challenge for the tour title.

With three World Champion's and three Olympic silver medalist's in tow the team head into a pre-tour training camp with the hope of conquering the roads of Britain. The six-man team for this year's tour, which starts 30^th of August in Glasgow, is made up by three of the Great Britain Pursuit Team who won the World Championship pursuit event in Los Angeles earlier this year.

With three world champions, the British National Road Champion Russell Downing and brilliant talent in Dean Downing and Robin Sharman we believe we have the strength for all six stages in this year's race."

The riders who are now vacating to the hills of Lancashire to begin an intense training programme carry the hopes for the Recycling team who in recent years have become Britain's most successful road team.
