Team Sweden win ANTI Days of Thunder dirt jump comp

Norwegian freeride event is a great success

The second ANTI Days of Thunder freeride competition took place at Hafjell bike park in Norway over the weekend where some of the world’s best downhill, dirt jump and slopestyle riders battled it out.

Martin Søderstrøm sealed the dirt jump comp win for Team Sweden (which also included Linus Sjøhølm, Jon Sederlid and Nisse Ørnjeger) by pulling some crowd-pleasing moves, from 720s to double tailwhips and 360 tuck no-handers. You can watch a video of the action on the ANTI Days of Thunder blog.

Team North America, made up of Eric Porter, Thomas Vanderham, Jordie Lunn and Kelly McGarry, won the downhill race relay with a five-second margin over Team Norway (Niels Windfeldt, Trond Hansen, Kristoffer Haugland and Mads Andre Haugen). Video action here.

Trond Hansen's 360 X-Up.

The Urge Intense slopestyle competition was cancelled due to high winds – not even gnarly freeriders can bust their moves in such dire conditions.
